Eric A. Gershenbaum, M.D
Dr. Gershenbaum graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University, and attended medical school at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he received the academic achievement award for graduating at the top of his class. His residency training was completed at the world renowned Emory Eye Center, where he learned the most up to date medical and surgical techniques in the rapidly changing field of Ophthalmology.
Revathi P. Naadimuthu, M.D.
Dr. Revathi Naadimuthu, known affectionately as “Dr. Naadi” by her staff and patients, is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Corneal specialist. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers University being a member of the General Honors Program and the Golden Key Honor Society. She completed the highly esteemed 7-year BA/MD program through Rutgers University and UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and stayed on to complete her Internal Medicine Internship at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She then completed her Ophthalmology training at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Naadi was trained in Cornea, Refractive Surgery, and External Disease at the University of Texas, Southwestern in Dallas, TX.
She is a highly skilled surgeon performing complicated anterior segment surgery, cataract surgery with advanced technology lens implants, and refractive surgery such as LASIK and PRK. She is proficient in corneal procedures such as penetrating keratoplasty (corneal transplant), DSAEK (Descemet’s Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty), INTACS, and collagen cross-linking.
Dr. Naadi gives educational lectures to her peers discussing the latest corneal techniques and surgeries. She has been given the Vitals.com Patient Choice Compassionate Doctor award, has been featured in Who’s Who, was named Top Doctor by NJ Top Docs, and has been elected to The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Naadi is on staff at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ and Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ.
In her free time, Dr. Naadi enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She enjoys crafting and DIY projects for her home.

Bruce E. Kanengiser, M.D.
We are pleased to welcome Bruce E. Kanengiser, M.D. to our practice. Dr. Kanengiser is a board certified ophthalmologist and has been providing excellent comprehensive care to patients for over 25 years. He trained at NYU Medical Center and has been in private practice in both New York and New Jersey. He’s been named in America’s Top Ophthalmologist and Who’s Who in America.
Dr. Kanengiser has been involved in clinical research pertaining to a wide range of ophthalmic conditions including dry eye, glaucoma, as well as inflammatory and infectious diseases. His vast knowledge and many years of experience enable him to be a valuable addition to our practice, committed to providing patients with excellence and expertise in the care of their eyes.

Seema Patel, M.D.
Seema R. Patel, MD received her undergraduate degree in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. She then went on to attend UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor society for academic excellence. Dr. Patel completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She completed an ophthalmology residency at Temple University Hospital. She was selected to be the chief resident in her final year. Finally, she completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery at the esteemed Emory Eye Center.
Dr. Patel joined Freehold Ophthalmology in August of 2016. She has joined with 6 years of experience in practice both here in New Jersey and in Pennsylvania. She performs cataract surgery, corneal procedures, and glaucoma lasers. She is able to diagnosis and treat important ocular conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Cherry m. Hanna, m.d.
Dr. Cherry Hanna received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers State University New Brunswick majoring in biological studies and minoring in religious studies. She completed her optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.
Dr. Hanna is trained in prescribing specialty contact lenses and dry eye treatment at Hazleton Eye Specialists, Wyomissing Optometric Center, and the Witlin Center. She gained experience in prescribing prism in her low vision and vision rehabilitation rotation at the William Feinbloom Center at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. Dr. Hanna has had extensive training on postoperative management of LASIK, PRK, and cataract surgeries including toric and multifocal lenses, as well as the medical management of glaucoma at the Witlin Center. She has also been trained in medical management of ocular disease at the NJ Veteran’s Affairs Hospital.
She’s a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.

Junyue Qu, m.d.
Dr. Qu graduated from Medical School with a M.D. degree in Shandong University in China and completed her residency in Ophthalmology with Master degree (M.Med.) in Strabismus and Amblyopia treatment and management. Dr. Qu received her Doctor of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry with honors in Boston, MA. She has gained experience in various clinical settings, having trained in contact lenses and primary eye care at New England Eye Institute, Boston,MA and Lifetime Eyecare and Contact Lens Center, Houston, TX; in ophthalmic disease and management at Veterans Affairs Portland Health Care System and University of Virginia School of Medicine.
Dr. Qu’s primary practice focus is on medical management of ocular diseases. She also have extensive experience in pre and post-operative care of many ocular surgeries and various contact lens fitting. She is a member of American Optometric Association and Beta Sigma Kappa honor society.
